A good night’s sleep
and dreams are so important to each of us to feel fresh and ready for our day. Humans spend about a third of our life time sleeping. Sleep is necessary for our bodies and minds to rejuvenate and restore energy, rebuild cells and tissues, clear waste products of our metabolism, regulate hormones, immune system, other cell functions and to build memories for learning.
Sleep is one of the major pillars for our well-being and happiness.
Not sleeping well?
Sleep may not feel restful anymore: Our busy lives leave many of us feeling stressed, worried and exhausted with work, family, social obligations and other factors pulling time away from sleep and self-care.
For some of us sleep disorders disturb our sleep such as sleep apnea, restless legs, circadian rhythm disorders, shift work, insomnia, narcolepsy, parasomnia and many more.
Northwind Sleep Clinic is pleased to partner with Lakeland Health Services for sleep studies and therapeutic services such as CPAP equipment.
